I cater for customers of all ages. I have taught learners with both physical and learning disabilities. I specialise in dealing with customers who have anxiety and I have taught people to drive who have a variety of complex needs. My job is more than getting learners to pass a test. My job is to ensure that learners don't pose a risk to themselves or anyone else once they have passed.

Welcome to Sandy Hillan Driving School. I am a Grade ‘A’ Approved Driving Instructor and have many years of driving instructor experience. My driving school is in Kilmarnock and offers both Manual & Automatic driving tuition. We have 2 vehicles: A white Mini 2.0 SD John Cooper Works Manual & A Blue Mini 1.5 Diesel Cooper Automatic. Both vehicles are 1 year old and are main dealer serviced.

I offer a person-centred approach to lessons that suit the learners needs. My hands-off approach makes users relax and quickly promotes confidence. I believe everyone has the right to drive and cater for customers of all ages. Age should not be a barrier. I have taught learners with both physical and learning disabilities. Such as: Asperger Syndrome, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD & hearing difficulties.

What is the cost of learning to drive?

1 Hour Driving Lessons

Single driving lessons are priced at £35.00. This cost includes an hour of tuition and collection from your home, place of work, school, college or university.

10 Hour Driving Lessons

A block of ten lessons is priced at £325.00. Drivers will progress quickly with longer more frequent lessons, building confidence and feeling comfortable out on the road.
